Over the years we have found an increased demand for adjustable platforms that can hold heavy weights at variable heights – predominantly in the transport and logistics industry.
Our first adjustable platform design was developed for an Australian-wide transporting company that needed one platform with multiple heights for maintenance work on their fleet of heavy vehicles.
Today, Star Aluminium provides Adjustable Maintenance Platforms that have been carefully constructed and designed in-house with a safety yellow painted hand railing for added visibility.
Each platform is manufactured from structural aluminium alloy and load-rated to 200 kg SWL deck capacity and 150 kg SWL for the cantilever arm.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Protecting worker safety is a priority at Star Aluminium. All adjustable work platforms are manufactured to meet Australian manufacturing and WHS access equipment standards.
Every unit is supplied with a compliance plate and engineering certification.
Our standard products comply with WHS requirements and carry a Lifetime Structural Warranty covering structural integrity.
Every month, we recommend that you inspect every working platform to make sure they are safe for use.
Check the platform's surface and weld points in order to ensure there is no external damage or corrosion from weather conditions that can cause a safety issue.
If any damage is found on the equipment when checking your monthly inspection routine, please mark the equipment as "out of service" and call us so we may discuss what needs to be repaired.

What platform heights do adjustable work platforms cover?

Seven standard models (P1400 through P3000) provide platform heights from 1,400mm to 3,000mm. The retractable boom arm extends total working reach to 3,800mm, covering heavy vehicle, fuselage, and engine bay access requirements without repositioning the unit.

What is the Safe Working Load (SWL) for these platforms?

The deck platform carries a 200 kg SWL. The cantilever arm is independently rated to 150 kg SWL. Both ratings are manufactured to Australian Standards and a fitted compliance plate shipped with every unit displays the model-specific SWL for operator reference.

Are Star Aluminium adjustable platforms manufactured to Australian Standards?

Yes. All Star Aluminium adjustable work platforms are manufactured to Australian Standards for fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders, and comply with relevant WHS access equipment requirements. Each unit ships with a fitted compliance plate and supporting engineering documentation.
