OneSteel
Truck Access Platforms & Safety Screens
The client loads steel onto transport trucks 1.4m off the ground.
Needing to comply with Union work safety requirements, the client was seeking a solution to prevent fall risks for employees needing to work on the truck to secure steel for transport and reduce risk.
Our Solution
Working with the client Star Aluminium fabricated a combination of the 6m Truck Access Platform with stairs and a set of Safety Screens to create a fully enclosed barricade around the truck for loading, unloading, and securing of freight.
The client then rolled out this solution throughout their business Australia-wide as this enabled safe access to their trucks with adequate protection whilst securing loads.
