Star Aluminium Crossover Platforms

Star crossover platforms provide safe, repeatable access over production lines, conveyors, pipes, cable trays and fixed plant equipment, allowing personnel to move efficiently around facilities without disrupting operations below. Two access configurations are available: 67° step access for platforms up to 2,250 mm height, and 44° stair access for platforms from 400 mm to over 4,000 mm, with custom sizes available at either end of the range.
The boom arm hinges open for ladder or stair access and closes once the operator is on the platform, maintaining continuous edge protection throughout use. Anti-slip checker-plate covers the platform deck and both stair approaches. Safety yellow powder-coated handrails provide clear visual guidance at access points and along the platform edges. Platform body lengths run from 900 mm to 3,000 mm to suit varying conveyor, pipe and obstacle widths.
These platforms are regularly used in food and beverage manufacturing, automotive production, logistics and warehousing, pharmaceutical processing and industrial plants where personnel crossings over active production lines are required multiple times per shift. The 450 KG load rating accommodates heavy tool loads and multiple operators where required. All units are backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty.

Check the platform's surface and weld points in order to ensure there is no external damage or corrosion from weather conditions that can cause a safety issue.
If any damage is found on the equipment when checking your monthly inspection routine, please mark the equipment as "out of service" and call us so we may discuss what needs to be repaired.
