Star Aluminium Cantilever Work Platforms

Star cantilever work platforms are available in nine standard models, covering platform heights from 900 mm to 3,300 mm. The 950 mm cantilever deck extends out over vehicle bodywork, aircraft surfaces or industrial equipment, placing the operator directly above the work area with a guardrailed deck underneath them throughout. A secure rear gate closes automatically once the operator has stepped onto the deck, maintaining full perimeter edge protection without manual latching.
All nine models share a 200 kg SWL and swivel lockable castors that allow the platform to roll freely when repositioning and lock solidly once it is in position. Access treads are 100 mm deep slip-resistant aluminium, and safety yellow powder-coated handrails provide clear visual reference in busy workshop or yard environments. Anti-slip checker-plate decking maintains footing integrity in wet and dusty conditions.
These platforms are regularly specified in aviation maintenance, truck fleet servicing, mining equipment overhaul and general industrial maintenance environments where the equipment height varies or operators need to move along a surface rather than reach a single fixed point. Custom models are available beyond the STAR CLP3 to CLP11 standard range.

All Star Aluminium cantilever work platforms are manufactured to Australian Standards for height access equipment.
Every platform is supplied with a compliance plate and engineering certification.
Our standard platforms comply with WHS access equipment requirements and carry a Lifetime Structural Warranty.
Every month, we recommend that you inspect every working platform to make sure they are safe for use.
Check the platform's surface and weld points in order to ensure there is no external damage or corrosion from weather conditions that can cause a safety issue.
If any damage is found on the equipment when checking your monthly inspection routine, please mark the equipment as "out of service" and call us so we may discuss what needs to be repaired.
