Asset & Workflow Survey
We start with the asset geometry, clearance envelope and maintenance workflow. Site visit available where the project complexity justifies it.
Site-specific height access platforms, stair towers and maintenance access systems engineered around the asset, one-off through to fleet rollout.
Custom height access solutions for assets where standard catalogue products do not match the operational reality on site. Aircraft hangar wing-docking systems, rail maintenance platforms, mining-pit cantilever access, tanker top-deck stair towers, manufacturing-line elevation platforms, each project starts with the asset geometry and the maintenance workflow, not with a product page.
The in-house design team engineers around real-world constraints: clearance envelopes, weight restrictions, mobility requirements, asset access angles, integration with existing infrastructure and the specific compliance framework relevant to your industry. AS 1657 baseline plus any industry-specific overlays (defence, aviation, mining, food-grade, marine) integrated into the build from initial brief.
From single-asset custom builds to fleet rollouts across multiple sites, the same Carrum Downs, VIC facility handles every step. Backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty on every standard component, with custom-engineered configurations carrying matched warranty terms documented at handover.
Five steps from brief to commissioning.
We start with the asset geometry, clearance envelope and maintenance workflow. Site visit available where the project complexity justifies it.
Custom design developed within AS 1657 baseline plus industry-specific compliance overlays. Drawings, load calcs and certifications documented before fabrication.
Mobility, modularity, integration with existing infrastructure and asset access angles all considered. We engineer around your site, not against it.
Aluminium and steel fabrication under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system in our Carrum Downs, VIC facility. Compliance plate fitted before dispatch.
Project handover with engineering certificates, installation guides and operator documentation. On-site commissioning support available where the brief calls for it.
Custom height access is used across aviation (fuselage, wing and engine access platforms), rail (maintenance and inspection platforms for carriages and locomotives), mining (cantilever platforms for pit and conveyor access), defence (armoured vehicle and aerospace maintenance), oil and gas (pressure vessel and tank top-deck access) and general manufacturing (elevated line access and machinery maintenance platforms).
The process starts with the asset geometry and maintenance workflow, not a catalogue. Our in-house design team documents clearance envelopes, weight restrictions, mobility requirements, access angles and the compliance framework for your industry before producing concept drawings. Load calculations, compliance references and fabrication drawings are reviewed before any fabrication begins.
Yes. Where the same access requirement applies across multiple assets at different sites, fleet designs are engineered to be repeatable and modular. This reduces per-unit cost and simplifies site installation. Fleet rollout specifications are documented in full at the design phase to ensure consistency across the entire order.
AS 1657 is the structural baseline for all custom height access products. Industry-specific overlays are integrated where required, including aviation compliance, mining WHS requirements, food-grade material specifications and marine-grade corrosion standards. All products ship with a compliance plate and engineering certificate.
A Lifetime Structural Warranty applies to standard components used in every custom build. Custom-engineered configurations carry matched warranty terms documented at project handover. ISO 9001:2015 applies throughout design and fabrication.
