Project Details
Mining Platforms
Dyno Nobel required an access solution for their mining sites throughout QLD & WA.
The customer’s requirement was that the product is a minimum of 2600mm high, instead of walk-thru access having a hangover/cantilever of approx. 800mm & durable, lockable wheels.
We recommended that the platform have a counterweight as a safety requirement to counteract the cantilever & prevent any form of tipping.
Workshop drawings were supplied & approved by the customer.
A prototype was manufactured for our engineering team to test & analyze.
The platform was delivered to Dyno Nobel mining site in rural QLD for our customers to test & determine whether or not this was suitable & met all their requirements.
Which it did – 10 platforms later the original design has been manufactured and sent to all Dyno Nobel mining sites around QLD & WA.
